324 Biologics gone viral: Perceptions of biologics within online psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis communities

Limited analyses of social media content among psoriasis (PsO) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) patients exist. These may turn to gain insight on treatments such as biologics. This study aims analyze the content, sentiment, engagement posts regarding biologics for PsO PsA. Posts comments discussing were extracted from publicly accessible PsA Reddit groups. assigned higher lower order themes (HOTs LOTs, respectively), sentiments, scores. Of 1141 extracted, 705 classified under HOT general/efficacy. 12 (LOTs) identified: hoping start (7.1% posts), general hesitancy (17%), advice/experience (10.2%), symptoms improved (36.6%), not improved/worsened (5.7%), switching (10.5%), time results (13.4%), benefits outweigh risks (0.4%), stubborn areas (2.7%), stopped working (4.9%), mask problem (1.0%), other (5.4%). 61.3% was positive 24.0% neutral, 14.7% negative sentiment.
